The use of combination seal slot electrodes for the Aircraft Industry has come into great favor among process engineers. This configuration reduces EDM setup time, EDM machining time, and dramatically reduces the chances of part defects due to the reduction in machining operations. In many cases, Graphel can form grind these seal electrode configurations accurately and economically. However, some configurations prohibit the use of this process (as shown to the right). In these situations, Graphel can wire EDM your configuration into copper tungsten.
